Common questions

I lost my library / got a new phone

If you had a Vault account and tapped Back up my library, sign in on the new device and tap Restore backup. If you never backed up, we’re sorry: MythForge is local-first, so your library lives on your device and nowhere else unless you put it there.

Do I need an account?

No. The bestiary, NPC generator, encounter tracker, battle map, dice, and notes all work offline with no sign-in. An account is only for the Vault and cloud backups.

Something in the Vault shouldn’t be there

Report it from inside the app: open the entry and use the report action. Reports reach our moderation queue. You can also send a request above with the Vault topic.

How do I delete my account?

Camp → Account → Delete account. Full detail on the account deletion page.

Can I move my creations somewhere else?

Yes. Every monster, NPC, item, and spell exports as Mythcode, plain YAML any text editor can read. Nothing you make is locked in.

Is it on Android?

Not yet. iOS ships first, and Android is on the roadmap.
